Fantastic news for Kickstart!
Mark Russell was given an invitation to the first Cheshire East Sports Awards, held at Congleton Town Hall on Monday 18th October, following a nomination for Coach of the Year. The event recognised the efforts over the past 12 months of local volunteers, clubs, coaches and schools in developing sport within Cheshire East. 150 people were in attendance to the evening hosted by BBC Radio Manchester presenter Mike Shaft.

Kickstart in schools
The Kickstart team have been attending meetings with interested schools. The first school to sign up for the programme is Wistaston Green School in Crewe, the programme will begin in September 2010.
