Mark Russell was given an invitation to the first Cheshire East Sports Awards, held at Congleton Town Hall on Monday 18th October, following a nomination for Coach of the Year. The event recognised the efforts over the past 12 months of local volunteers, clubs, coaches and schools in developing sport within Cheshire East. 150 people were in attendance to the evening hosted by BBC Radio Manchester presenter Mike Shaft.

Mark Russell was successful with the nomination and has been recognised as CHESHIRE EAST COACH OF THE YEAR 2010!!
