As a leading training provider with over 35 years of experience, Business 2 Business ('B2B') have supported individuals back into work and supported a diverse range of national, regional, and local employers of all sizes and from every sector to recruit. B2B have provided high quality diagnostics, information, advice and guidance and employability skills to prepare young people to enter employment.

Through this work, we have built and maintain strategic links to the business community by working in partnership with Local Enterprise Partnership Growth Hubs, Jobcentre Plus Work Coaches, Connexions, Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses, Institute of Directors and sector skills-based networks.

We are in a strong position to work across the country to support young people aged 16-24 to derive the maximum benefit from the Kickstart Scheme and to advise and support employers to provide a mutually beneficial, high quality, incentivised work opportunity alongside relevant training from which young people can progress further with the original employer or with other employers in their sector. We strongly support the key principles of ‘The Good Youth Employment Charter’ in providing a framework to support and recognise employers who are committed to providing good quality opportunities to young people.

After intensive and in-depth discussions with Jobcentre Plus, employers and young people we have created our Gateway PLUS+ package which works best for all stakeholders and captures exactly the areas most in need for the success of the national Kickstart Scheme.
